Anthology of three feature films produced cooperatively, with the same cast and crew.
In 2015, the films hit theaters in the following cities: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo,Vitória, Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte. It is currently being shown on CanalBrasil TV channel and VOD platforms.
UNBOWED
Women authors interweave their creations in this anthology-style feature film. The scripts were adapted from literary short stories written by Brazilian women in the late 19th century, resulting in four short films directed by filmmakers from underrepresented groups in Brazil’s 2024 film industry. Themes such as death, healing, marriage, and desire are ubiquitous in stories where women revisit their past in search of freedom.
